UL DEWI is seeking a
Senior Project Manager (m/f)
to join the Due Diligence (DD) team carrying out business development, Client relationship management and providing technical advice in wind, onshore & offshore, as well as solar PV to investors, lenders and developers.
Reporting to the local EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Director, you will be based in France (Lyon) and responsible for business development and delivery of wind and solar projects in Francophonic countries and in the wider EMEA region.
In addition to a strong technical background and proven track record in delivery, you will also be responsible for providing commercial support, playing a key role in the development of our Due Diligence services and our Client portfolio across the region in collaboration with the Business Development Managers for this region. You will be expected to spend circa 50% of your time carrying out business development activities including Client contact management, Client sales meetings and development and submission of proposals detailing scope of work, team, budget and schedule for completion.
You will be expected to work with lenders and developers as the main client interface for UL DEWI. Attend client meetings with lenders and developers as needed. Engage clients and internal staff to develop creative solutions to meet client needs; provide exceptional customer service with a focus of growing client relationships.
Your technical role for wind (onshore & offshore) and solar project financing, will include performing the review of the project documentation as well as some engineering tasks in order to identify potential risks with regards to the following aspects:
Your areas of knowledge and the work you will undertake will span from project development through construction and into operation. Your work will include office based and onsite working depending on project and Client needs.
Your role in providing these services will vary by Client with the activities tailored to investors, lenders and developers.
You will manage entire projects including proposal development, budget, forecasting, quality assurance and team members as well maintaining the Client relationship throughout and after project delivery. Completion services will also include closing out the project, invoicing and obtaining Client feedback.
While this position will focus on the French market and EMEA, working and travelling will be required both within France and in the wider UL global organization.
