At UL Identity Management & Security (IMS) we aim to make the cyber world more secure. We work with our customers to test, validate/verify, certify, and advise on their functional security and nonfunctional cybersecurity of their products, systems, and ecosystems. We make sure the security functions of products and systems work as they should, and we help customers test their connected technologies for hackability. Through our creation of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, we help our customers define and implement their security strategies. (link: https://ims.ul.com/)

 

As our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for a Sales Executive with a focus on the Technology Solution Industry (e.g. Payments, Financial Services, Software) to join our team within the IMS division in The Netherlands.

 

What you’ll learn & achieve:

  • Promotes and sells a portfolio of services to existing accounts not managed by account management teams within new markets and grows clients base within an established territory.
  • Identifies new accounts within assigned territory to promote and sell a portfolio of services directly to new clients within new markets.
  • Provides value propositions to clients, handles complex objections, prepares quotes or reviews quotes prepared by others, and closes sales by getting prospects’ commitment with little or no supervision.
  • Utilizes CRM to create, monitor and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales pipeline focused on new accounts. Identifies and pursues prospects through various lead generating activities, including tradeshow attendance and cold calling.
  • Meet with prospects to identify and qualify their needs including understanding decision makers, delivery timeframe, budget status, challenge and pain points, and competition status.
  • Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive client issues.
  • Supports the development of sales presentations and presents to potential new clients following a disciplined consultative selling strategy that fully leverages the full portfolio of UL services.
  • Utilizes knowledge of UL solutions to identify cross selling opportunities.
  • Meets or exceeds assigned sales target on a quarterly basis.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Maintain our CRM system and ensure that all date is entered accurately.
  • Engage with the sales and delivery teams to identify the best solution and exchange market information.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Academic background in Business Administration, or a technical discipline.
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in consultative sales.
  • Experience in the technology solution industry (e.g. Payments, Financial Services, Software).
  • General knowledge of company policies and sales processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects to stated objectives.
  • Has a general understanding of company’s products and services.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
  • Extroverted personality and a great team player.
