  • Responsibilities

    1. Performs needs analyses and develops implementation plans for existing and new business ventures or additions to current lines of business, including potential acquisitions, joint ventures and regional expansion.  Works closely and collaboratively with all Regional Staff and International Finance VP
    2. Works to enhance and improve business performance in the Korean region and cooperatively with International Strategy Team and assists in the creation and execution of strategic plans to ensure regional goals are achieved
    3. Monitor, analyze and interpret client feedback to improve regional financial performance, client experience and overall business success.  Includes gaining insight into existing clients, new client prospects, and others regarding existing and new services
    4. Provides regional management with guidance in identifying, managing and resolving issues that are impairing operational efficiencies and financial results
    5. Develops regional budgets as part of UL’s projection and budgeting processes and in cooperation with International Finance VP and in general with UL’s Corporate Finance Team
    6. Monitor Regional performance in comparison to annual plans, financial projects, capital investment plans and other business plans
    7. Provides financial support to include pricing and rebate analysis, key account management financial support, marketing program impact analysis, new initiative analysis, and other related activities
    8. Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all company policies are understood and in practice

    9. Assist in special projects including and not limited to system enhancements, process reviews and improvement, monitoring fulfillment systems, ad hoc reporting in support of efficient operations and performance reporting

    10. Performs other duties as assigned


    1. University Degree in Business or related field, MBA is highly preferred

    2. Minimum of four years relative professional level experience
    3. Ability to travel internationally
    4. Required multi-lingual expertise in Korean and English; verbal and written
    5. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential
