    Due to our ongoing growth and acquisitions, we are looking for an experienced Account / Finance Accounting and Reporting Analyst in Basingstoke who will report directly to the Account Manager.

    The successful candidate will form part of our Finance department in Basingstoke. You can expect to gain experience in a variety of tasks/projects in an ever changing, dynamic finance environment.




    • Close involvement in special projects: legal entity optimization, ERP system implementation, mergers & acquisitions
    • Assisting on migration of information between CRM systems (Sage vs Oracle)
    • Responsible for the financial accounting implementation for UL’s UK & Ireland affiliates
    • Implementation and integration of finance processes
    • Implementation of analytical reporting and statutory reporting
    • Monthly reporting of financial results to the global headquarters
    • Structuring, improving and optimizing processes and operations •
    • Business partner for local management
    • General direct and indirect tax experience
    • Perform other duties as direct (ad hoc projects)



    • Public audit experience required (Big-4 preferably)
    • University degree in Accounting or Business Economics added with a UK Chartered
    • Accountant degree or equivalent (UK-GAAP / IFRS)
    • Ability to build to adapt with a fast moving environment and change projects •
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to be involved in Company’s group world-wide financial network and business
    • Experience with leading special projects as mentioned in the job tasks and responsibilities.
    • Likes to work in a dynamic, international environment
    • Initiative and drive for continuous improvement
    • The preferred location is Basingstoke, UK however will consider other UK locations.
    • The international scope of the role and special projects will require the Accounting Manager UK & Ireland to travel (inter)nationally.
