    Responsibilities

    We are searching for a new team member in our growing Sales Department.  The Sales Executive is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. This position builds relationships, executes sales campaigns, creates and executes territory development plans and sells ULs products, systems, and/or services to customers in an assigned territory, industry or account.  The UK has a strong manufacturing base which is the primary focus for our services inside of our Energy & Power Technology (EPT) Division.  A large percentage of these manufacturers are developing products in the Hazardous Location areas or for usage in Explosion-proof environments.     

     

    As our sales expert, you will:

    • Identifies and pursues prospects through various lead generated activities, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, cold-calling, on key industry players and referral program.
    • Join an existing team focused on EPT clients to expand UL business in UK and Ireland
    • Meet with existing and new prospects to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and their needs.
    • Supports the development of sales presentations, territory development plans and interface heavily with our Engineering departments for project and customer success. 
    • Provides value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes sales by getting prospects’ commitments.
    • Retains existing customers and builds and solidifies relationships
    • Performs other duties as directed.

    Qualifications

    • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in a related discipline plus generally two to three years of directly related experience.
    • ATEX, IEC EX knowledge and experience is a desired skillset
    • Strong ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
    • Interest and ability to work and lead international sales capture efforts & teams
    • General knowledge of UK industrial manufacturers & supply chain
    • Demonstrates ability to execute projects to stated objectives.
    • Willingness to travel for business within UK and to a lesser extent greater Europe.
