    We are hiring a Sales Executive for Life and Health Division to manage the MedTech devices based in our Malaysia office in Selangor. The identified candidate is required to travel 70-80% of the time within Malaysia and possibly, nearby ASEAN countries as per business needs. The Sales Executive will be responsible for the business development and sales of our Life & Health Sciences team, focusing on growing our core businesses in the testing, inspection and certification industry and B2B services that we provide for our clients.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic sales executive who can rapidly grow our core business in the fastest growing region –ASEAN; dealing with the Industrial Systems sector. This is a brand new headcount created due to business expansion and this new incumbent will be reporting to Sales Manager – ASEAN who is based in Singapore. 


    • Identify and work directly with stakeholders of the MedTech Industry, Regulatory Authorities.
    • Identify prospects through various lead generated activities, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising,
      cold-calling on key industry players and referral program.
    • Receive prospects and action on leads from telesales and / or customer service professionals.
    • Interface with prospects to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process and
      criteria, and their needs.
    • Create value propositions, handle objections, prepare quotes, and close sales by getting prospects’
    • Acquire new customers, cross sell to existing UL customers & provide solutions for customers at risk
    • Meet the assigned order and revenue targets
    • Prepare and submit sales report, which includes tracking of order amount, demand forecasting and market
    • Work closely with Operations, Sales support and Industry teams in achieving the regional goals and objectives.


    Ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, Biomedical Engineering discipline, or related field with experience and knowledge in the selling and consultation of compliance services in the Medical Device industry or product safety, performance testing and Regulatory Affairs preferred. Alternatively knowledge with IEC / ISO International standards applicable to Industrial Medical Device products would be advantageous.


    He/She should be able to work independently, be matured and organized, with strong presentation and communication skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English, conversational skills in Chinese / any ASEAN language is a plus. A commercial mindset and business acumen would propel this person to succeed in this role. He/She should be able to travel extensively for business (70-80%).
