Identified candidate will be supporting mutiple runs of project within Asia. The IT Business Analyst drives the implementation and maintenance of enterprise wide business systems. This role will be responsible for planning and managing small and large projects to assure goals and objectives are met within an arranged time frame, and this role will formulate and define systems scope based on user needs, a thorough understanding of the business systems, and industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Drives the implementation and maintenance of enterprise widebusiness systems. Responsible for instructing, directing, and checking the work of otherbusiness systems analysts. Plans and manages small and large projects to assure goals andobjectives are met within an arranged time frame. Formulates and defines systems scopebased on user needs, a thorough understanding of the business systems, and industry.Ensures solutions meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Utilizes industry best practices to drive the implementation of business systems and acts as the SME (subject matter expert) on specific projects.
    • Interfaces with system support and logs technical assistance requests as needed. Works with system support to resolve questions, problems, and enhancement requests.
    • Gathers system requirements from business users and creates functional requirement documents. Consults with business and technical teams to define necessary requirements. Works through and contributes to all phases of development through the lifecycle of a project.
    • Manages large and more important projects. Supports other departments, divisions, and organizations as a liaison to IT.
    • Contributes to all phases of system development through the analysis of business requirements, business design, business development, client training, data conversion, testing and maintenance.
    • Prepares charts, diagrams, and recommendations for business solutions while ensuring conformity with other business areas.

    Qualifications

    • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally seven years of directly related experience.
    • Experience managing and assisting as a lead on teams for IT projects & programs.
    • Knowledgeable and hands on Oracle ERP OR have come from Oracle APPS, ORACLE R12, ORACLE EBS, would be ideal and perfect fit.
    • Strong working technical and/or IT development experience.
    • Candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in Oracle Financial Applications as a functional user.  Applicant should also be familiar with Oracle tables and how to query information using SQL.
    • Industry experience is preferred but not a must
    • Familiar on Oracle metalink usage and how to find answers on issues using metalink.
