    You don’t just know the buzzwords: brand standards, big idea, concept, integrated campaign, environmental, social — you have an experienced and even passionate point of view about them
    in relation to a large portfolio of B2B and B2C brands. You’re excited to partner, design and lead
    with other creatives to bring our UL story to life in a design environment and throughout traditional
    and digital spaces.


    You might have corporate experience; in fact, we hope you do. You definitely have creative agency experience, and you understand the discipline required to focus on clients first and shut out all that corporate blah-blah. You know how to design and mentor an art team, collaborate with copywriters, present your work to key internal stakeholders and [seemingly effortlessly] juggle all four on any given day. You love to design and love what you do.


    Our UL Office location is in Denmark and you have a team to work with in Chicago as well, but you can make it work because communication is your gig. And it’s not hard because the teams you get to work with are smart, energetic and pretty darn talented.

    • Supporting the Creative Strategist with the development of concepts, strategies,
      and client presentations
    • Able to asses task\projects from initial brief - Capable of providing an estimate on time and tools needed for job completion 
    • Able to effectively hand over projects you are currently working, organizing files and resources in a self explanatory way
    • Able to take over projects previously started by other designers of the team.
    • Designing and leading multiple design projects
    • Ensuring resources are allocated according to project needs
    • Directing the design and development of creative materials
    • Ensuring brand identity and message consistency across channels
    • Meeting client objectives, values, budgets, and deadlines
    • Leading and participating in brainstorming sessions
    • Keeping up with the latest trends, strategies, and technologies
    • Evaluating creative team performance with Creative Strategist and guiding improvements
    • Ability to lead by example and mentor younger creatives in their development
    • Ability to produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas
    • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices
    • Creating Mood boards for large campaigns
    • Creating Interactive Experience’s like Games, landing page, Interactive PDF
    • Experience creating PPT’s
    • Experience in creating Infographics and illustrations
    • The knowledge of Animation for video or gif’s for banners (nice to have)
    • Creating Storyboards for videos (nice to have)
    • Experience in web development HTML, CSS, JQuery (nice to have)


    • 7+ years of design experience within an agency or on an in-house creative team
    • Solid knowledge of marketing, brand, and design principles and development
    • Strong concept and execution development skills
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Strong creative mind
    • Background in creating environmental experiences
    • Strong attentional to detail and process
    • Talent to inspire clients and team members with great visual design
    • The candidate must have an online portfolio
    • Significant knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and designing in a browser
    • Effective communication skills
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proficiency in English
    • Strong artistic, design, composition and typographical skills
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
    • Ability to produce results independently as well as collaboratively
    • Strong interpersonal skills and high comfort collaborating with and advising colleagues
      and customers worldwide
    • 2-4 years hands-on experience in digital design and video (Video is a nice to have, but not a must)
    • Assure (nice to have)
    • After Effects (nice to have)
    • HTML, CSS, JQuery (nice to have)
