The successful candidate is the custodian of the UL brand in the Middle East and North African [MENA] region and will lead all corporate communication and business marketing efforts for UL. They will develop and implement a regional marketing strategy aligned to the regional business priorities; manage the entire marketing communications portfolio, including strategy development and planning, budget management, managing metrics and reporting.
They will achieve marketing synergies by implementing Corporate Marketing processes, tools and guidelines in close collaboration with regional Business Unit stakeholders. They will also provide marketing advice and guidance to the organization to ensure overall marketing effectiveness and drive efforts to position UL as the visionary leader and trusted partner with its current and prospective customers.
This role has accountability for leading and coordinating all lead generation and marketing efforts in the MENA region. The ability to work autonomously and independently is critical as the direct reporting manager will be based remotely. It will be essential that the successful candidate can work effectively in a matrix organization. They must be fluent in both Arabic and English, French is also a preferred language, with the ability to implement marketing activities and conduct professional conversations in these languages.
The Marketing Manager, MENA, will report to the International Marketing Director with a dotted line to the Regional VP & GM. They will work closely with the regional business leaders, sales, business development and technical staff.
