    Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL) is a safety-science company that – for the past 125 years – has had a strong focus on home and workplace safety. The Identity Management & Security division of UL extends this safety mission from ‘safety in the physical world’ to ‘security in digital the digital world’. UL Identity & Management Security focusses on securing large, mission critical digital transaction infrastructures such as payment networks, ticketing infrastructures, and mobile commerce environments.

     

    For cybersecurity projects in the automotive industry, we are currently looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager. In this position, you are responsible for managing the implementation of significant projects involving complex systems or multiple deliverables within a department or functional area. You plan and directs program schedules and budgets. Monitor program from project initiation through delivery, interfacing with stakeholders on applicable matters. You also oversee the coordination of project activities generally within and across departments or functional areas.

    Responsibilities

    • Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program and project deliverables on schedule and within budget constraints.
    • Assigns and monitors work of program staff.
    • Provides pre-sales support and subject matter expertise to assist Sales in the development of proposals and closing of sales opportunities.
    • Demonstrates ability to facilitate customer meetings, negotiate and influence outcomes.
    • Manages projects utilizing, personnel from multiple disciplines.
    • Identifies and manages priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
    • Performs other duties as directed.

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of proven experience in Project Management
    • Cybersecurity experience
    • University degree in Business Administration or related field
    • Automotive and identity management experience preferred
    • PMP desired
    • Proficient in English and Japanese
