    To strengthen UL’s Consumer & Retail Services business in EMEA region we are looking for:


    Customer Support Specialist with Italian (f/m)


    Your Challenge:


    The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling and arrangement of field services work (social and technical audits and product inspections) between UL Field Staff and suppliers/factories in an efficient and effective manner to maximize utilization rate and profitability. The Operations Coordinator maintains the internal audit scheduling calendar, handles internal and external scheduling requests, communicates changes, and directs concerns and inquiries to appropriate personnel. Audits and Inspections area includes: Social Compliance Audits, Quality System Audits, and Product Inspections for Textiles, Hardgoods, Jewelry and Electrical goods.
    Your challenge in more detail:


    • Coordinate assessment dates and other details with facilities and vendors; conduct follow-up as necessary
    • Create and maintain team assignments and update in company database for work in the assigned region to ensure optimal productivity and work  prioritization
    • Communicate assessment dates, changes, and issues with appropriate parties
    • Prepare expense quotations
    • Arrange for audit logistics, where applicable – i.e. arrange for translators, travel, equipment, etc.
    • Follow up on outstanding work in the region
    • Track incoming reports and update internal database
    • Conduct internal audit of regional audit files as per internal quality system requirement
    • Assist Operations Manager in managing actual expenses and cost projections to support profitable and efficient operations
    • Track auditor activity and productivity; submit to management for review and approval
    • Gather and prepare auditor evaluation metrics
    • Work with the Operations Manager to discover and drive process/cost efficiencies


    We are looking for:


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
    • Minimum one year of experience in project coordination/customer service/administrative role
    • Fluent English language skills, advanced Italian language
    • Excellent planning & organizational skills, multi-tasking
    • Willing and able to work independently, in a fast pace environment
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work order dates
    • Comfortable in use of spreadsheets and databases, strong data entry skills, accuracy
