Leads Corporate marketing and communications activities in the Latin America (LATAM). Develops and implements regional marketing strategy aligned to the regional business priorities; manages the entire marketing communications campaign, including strategy development/planning, identification of insights, selection of most effective vehicles (including newer social media tools), budget management and research/metrics. Drives marketing synergies by implementing Corporate Marketing processes, tools and guidelines in close collaboration with local BU marketing staff. Provides marketing advice and guidance to the organization to ensure overall marketing effectiveness and drives efforts to position UL as the visionary leader and trusted partner with its current and prospective customers.
This role has accountability for leading and coordinating all marketing efforts in the LATAM region. The ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is critical and it is also key to be fluent in both Brazilian Portuguese, English and in Spanish with the ability to implement marketing activities in those languages.
The Marketing Manager LATAM will report to the International Regional Marketing Director with a dotted line to the Regional VP/GM. He/she will work closely with the regional business leaders, sales, and local marketing staff.
University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related discipline plus generally five to seven years of experience in professional marketing with program managing marketing strategies and advertising campaigns
Master’s in Business or Advertising is preferred
Tri-lingual in Brazilian Portuguese, English and in Spanish
