  • Overview

     

    UL’s Transaction Center is a global shared services team supporting back office function that handles non-technical work (non-engineering work).

     

    We are looking for a team lead who can manage a variety of administrative support functions and duties including data entry, word processing and reporting to ensure that certification documents are processed within the defined service level and high quality. The team lead should have prior experience of managing a team and be a quick learner with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Manages the performance at the local team level by monitoring throughout, turnaround, and quality (accuracy).
    • Works with leadership to ensure resources consistently meet agreed-upon service delivery goals by ensuring resources are staffed at the appropriate staffing levels.
    • Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, communicating performance
    • Objectives, providing timely feedback and guidance, and ensuing that all policies are understood and adhered to.
    • Assesses staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency regularly.
    • Engages in planning and coordinating administrative procedures, systems and devising ways to streamline processes.
    • Should possess a strong process skills. Ability to articulate well, develop work Instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
    • Good at analyzing problem and arrive at Root cause and preventive measures.
    • Prior experience in Process improvement and conducting User Acceptance Test.
    • Actively participates in continuously improve and drive quality into UL’s service to the customer.
    • Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
    • Performs other duties as required.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Graduation/ Post Graduation in any stream
    • Good at analyzing and interpreting data; proficient using MS Excel
    • Experience in Data Analytics, Process/ Quality Management preferred
    • Prior experience handling a team in a BPO/ KPO is preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze information for discrepancies then respond timely and appropriately to customer needs.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task and to work effectively with a diverse team.
    • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills.
