    This position is based in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, but required to travel 70-80% of the time within Malaysia and possibly, nearby ASEAN countries as per business needs.


    This Sales Executive will be responsible for the business development and sales of our Environment & Furniture team, focusing on growing our core businesses in the testing, inspection and certification industry and B2B services that we provide for our clients.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic sales executive who can rapidly grow our core business across Malaysia. This is a brand new headcount created due to business expansion and this new incumbent will be reporting to Sales Manager of Taiwan and ASEAN who is based in Vietnam.


    Under general supervision, the Sales Executive is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts. You are expected to pitch the appropriate value propositions to the clients, win market share, and maintain high touch points with key accounts.


    • Identifies and pursues prospects through various lead generated activities, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, cold-calling, on key industry players and referral program.
    • Identify and work directly with stakeholders of appropriate government bodies and regulatory agencies.
    • Meets with prospects to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and their needs.
    • Supports the development of sales presentations. Supports the sales presentations in support of growing the clientele for ULs services.
    • Create value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes sales by getting prospects’ commitments.
    • Retains existing customers that are not managed by account management teams.
    • Meet the assigned order and revenue targets.
    • Acquire new customers, cross sell to existing UL customers, and provide solutions for customers that are at risk.
    • Prepare and submit sales report, which includes tracking of order amount, demand forecasting and market intelligence.
    • Work closely with Operations, Sales support and Industry teams in achieving the regional goals and objectives.
    • Performs other duties as directed.



    • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Engineering discipline, or related field
    • Experience and Knowledge in the solution and consultative selling
    • Knowledge in product safety, performance testing and environmental regulations desirable;
    • Experience working in a MNC environment with at least 2-3 years of Sales experience
    • Highly Independent, Mature and Organized
    • Excellent Team player
    • Proven sales track record with strong Presentation skills;
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English, conversational skills in Chinese / Malay any ASEAN language is a plus;
    • Individuals with a positive mindset and commercially aggressive attitude
    • Able to travel extensively average 70 - 80% within Malaysia
